I came back from Florida after being away for over 8 years. Went right back to Craze because Anna is the only hairdresser I went to that was "on point" with what I wanted!! Anna is the definition of a Hair Stylist!!

I met Ana when she was working as one of the top stylists at Dramatics NYC salon. This was 22 years ago and when she left Dramatics to start Craze Salon, I followed. The prices are great and I believe the service is good, but certain amenities she started with have been wisely discontinued and for good reason. The location is not generous to the salon despite the fact that Ana provides high quality work for less dollars. The waits can be long and perhaps the towels need to be upgraded, but what she lacks in amenities she makes up for in experience. Ana knows hair and she is trained. She is not a hairdresser, she is a hair stylist. She is also a color specialist. I can't speak from the female perspective, but I have been to many a high end salons where I dont get sage advice or where I dont get exactly what I want. I feel Ana takes the time to find out what my ideas for my cut are and strikes a good medium point. For me she's underrated and deserves more praise. ( if she could just clone herself, everything would be perfect.)
Terrible service, I guess these lazy women don’t wanna make money. All they wanna do is sit there and gossip. The beautiful thing about living in Queens is that there’s so many other places that are willing a to work. Never again
I dyed my hair for the first time here! I dyed it purple and it turned out STUNNING. Ana gave me my haircut and told me not to dye my roots bc it will break/ dry them out. My appointment was at 2:30 and the whole process ended around 8:15pm. The wait was long but it was fun and she recommended this conditioner which kept my hair bright!
The wait is annoying.. . but honestly Ana is great! Worth the wait. She is honest and will give you tips for your hair. My hair started growing after I got my haircut with her. Been going to her for three years now. From trims, blowdry and highlights. Price is fair as well.
